And I'm Harinder.

ALICIA:

Thank you for joining us on this podcast where we will share our step-by-step blueprint to finding and getting the job you want.

In this episode, we just wanted to say hello, introduce ourselves and to tell you why we think this podcast is for you.

HARINDER:

So who are we? Alicia and Harinder. We have both worked a combined total of 50 years plus. We've worked in a number of different industries across multiple continents, and we wanted to bring forward an offering that was across an international presence and an appreciation of our approach as well.

ALICIA:

And when we discovered that we were both being asked by friends and family and colleagues for help with their CV's or their resumes and their career goals, we thought, why don't we pull together what we know into a short podcast series to help other people too? Like, maybe you've just graduated, or maybe you're returning to work after a long period away. Or maybe you're just looking to switch jobs. What we want to share is our blueprint for making your job search efforts not only more effective, but so much easier.

HARINDER:

Like anything, we know that there is a lot out there and it can be overwhelming.

And what we are hoping is that you'll be able to use the resources, the links that we've attached and the content within the podcast to help build you up, but also to lead you to other resources as well.

ALICIA:

We're going to share answers to questions and concerns like how do I make my CV or resume sound amazing or where do I go to find my ideal job? 

Or how do I prepare for an interview and be the person that they want?

We even hope to answer questions that you may not have even thought about.

HARINDER:

Our hopes are that this content will help you to find and land your ideal job for right now, because that will change depending on where you are in your life.

ALICIA:

And that is why we start this series off with the most important episode. What do you want to do? In this episode we walk you through a process that helps you discover what your ideal job looks like and feels like.

And then we follow that up with an episode on the key brand elements you're going to need for your job search.

Then we will share our job search strategy to help you uncover the best job opportunities. Then we walk you through what to do before, during and after your interview. We even walk you through what to do on your first day at work.

We've also prepared a resources page to accompany this podcast series, and in it we include links to all the articles and the tools we refer to in each episode, so please be sure to have a look at that and check it out.
